Warranty: At Kami Tremblay Design, we have a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. In fact we are so committed to the quality of work that we won’t leave a project until not only our customers are happy, but we are happy as well. The old saying goes you are only as good as your last job. Call us selfish, but we love leaving a job so fulfilled and satisfied that we would want to go home and have the same finish surrounding us in our home. Because of this, we will touch up any minor scratches or dents to the finish twice (2) up to one year. Product/Surface Guarantee: Kami Tremblay Design warrants material for 2 years, not including general wear and tear. If a finish failure appears we will supply labor and materials to correct the condition without cost. Our responsibility is limited to correcting the condition as indicated above. This warranty excludes consequential or incidental damage caused by accident or abuse, unusual temperature change, settlement or moisture; i.e. cracks caused by expansion or contraction, improper cleaning products. Cracks will be properly prepared as indicated at the time initial work is performed, but will not be covered by this warranty. Damage to Walls/Repairs: Walls consequential or incidental damaged, caused by accident or abuse, unusual temperature change, settlement or moisture; i.e. cracks caused by expansion or contraction, improper cleaning products, leaks, plumbing, moving of light fixtures, etc. Walls can be repaired at a Base Service Fee of $375.00 (the “Base Service Fee” includes the first 3 hours of Professional Services Rendered) at Commencement (the “Commencement” shall be deemed the day of Execution of this agreement and/or the beginning of the Actual Professional Services being Rendered at said property listed.) After the (3) three hours of Base Service Fee has been used in accordance with agreement, the client then agrees to pay artist an hourly rate of $75.00 per hour for every additional hour of Professional Services rendered. If less than an hour of Professional Services are performed at any given time under this Agreement and schedule therein attached, the hourly rate will be assessed in increments of not less than an hour for every half-hour of Professional Services performed in order to insure that both Client and Contractor are treated on an accurate and fair basis. How to care for your new wall finishes: *We recommend that you do not clean the walls for the first 30 days. This will insure proper curing of the surface. *Do not clean the finished surface for at least 30 days; never with harsh chemicals. *Use a mild soap or non-abrasive cleaner and a soft sponge or damp cloth. *This will ensure a beautiful finish for years to come. Referral Program: It’s my client’s kind referrals that have kept me out of the yellow pages for the past 10 years. For any friend or neighbor that you tell about me, I will apply 10% of their project totals to go towards a future project of yours. This is my way of saying ‘thank you’. I greatly appreciate the nice words and the time you take to tell others about me. We love repeat customers, and you’ll be rewarded next time around with a 10% discount. If no projects are scheduled, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. |

How much will it cost? Each project is as unique as a fingerprint, therefore it’s hard to give a flat answer. It goes without saying that our prices are very competitive for that of professional artists. Rest assured that we pride ourselves with an estimate guarantee. In 10 years of business not once have we surprised a client with additional fees at the completion of job. This ensures that you, our client, know everything you are getting into. (Please note any additional work not specified in the original contract, will be subjected to a separate contract and bid to be approved by client prior to commencement or work.) Quotes are broken down and includes hours, materials and travel time. Quotes are not ‘set in stone’ and are subjected to change, if quoted on site. Your room will be as unique as a finger print, and many years of schooling, talent and apprenticeship has gone into our finishes and craft. Faux finishing can oftentimes be triple or quadruple the price of a standard straight painting job, it’s an art form. What Can I do before you arrive to start the project? Before our work begins we ask that you move all fragile or breakable items from the work area including: floor lamps, small furniture, pictures, etc. Heavy items should be moved into the center of the room. Take down draperies, disable alarms or leave instructions and make arrangements for pets. We will carefully move and protect your furniture. We can assist you with this if you need some help. We can do all the prep work including minor wall damage repair, skim coating, priming and base coating. If this is needed, it will be part of the original estimate. If you already have a painting contractor we would be more than happy to work with them and provide them with all necessary information. Can I use the room while work is in progress? Yes. At the end of each work day we clean up and store supplies in a designated spot. We try to minimize the disruption as much as possible. How long will the project take? One thing that 10 years of experience has taught us, is not only how to do what we do, but also how to apply our craft quickly and efficiently. When working with us you can count on quality and efficiency. There are many variables including the number of rooms and the complexity of projects. Many of our finishes require more than one coat and typically each layer needs to dry overnight. With our knowledge of past jobs we are able to give an estimated time frame for the total project duration. What if my finish was damaged, from moving a light fixture, or plumbing issue? If your walls are damaged, and the finish is affected (see “Damage to Walls/Repairs” below) we are able to fix the finish as best as we can. All finishes have records of colors used, to ensure that we get the best match, and you’ll never know anything happened. What do I do if I don’t like the faux finish, but you still have more to do? Remember that faux finishes are very technical and require many different steps to achieve the desired look. Sometimes looking at a job half finished can be very daunting, even unnerving, and you may not like step 2, but there are 2 other steps until completion. Be confident that if you like the sample board that you’ve approved, you’ll like the final product. Every sample board is created by hand with a custom Kami Tremblay Design formula book that has corresponding numbers to ensure the right colors every time. What if I don’t like the mural that you are painting? I allow up to 2 changes on murals, and any other change after that incurs a fee of $250.00 per change. To ensure that you will LOVE your mural, during stage 2 we provide pictures of our past work, so you can see the styles that have been done so you have an idea of what to expect. Also the sketches that you have approved will ensure satisfaction every time. Can you do more work if it wasn’t in the original project? Yes, but due to time constraints and scheduling, we will have to repeat steps 2-5 again for the new project. Fortunately at this point we will have a better palette to work of off, and the development process will usually take half as long. We love repeat customers, and you’ll be rewarded next time around with a 10% discount. |
